Pontefract Academies Trust is a cross phase Multi Academy Trust comprising of eight schools, six primaries and two 11 – 16 secondary schools. The Trust is a medium sized family of schools all located within a tight geographic hub within Pontefract. Students are drawn from the local community that includes a mix of different catchment areas.

The centralised services of the Trust are currently being reviewed, this is a new post to develop and implement a Trust wide data reporting strategy. The schools migrated in September 2019 to a common MIS system to facilitate a trust wide approach in terms of data integrity and reporting. This post will develop the second phase of the MIS implementation.

We are looking for a motivated individual who finds the challenge of developing a reporting platform exciting. You will work closely with the schools to ensure data integrity at the point of entry and provie support to enable them to fully utilise the MIS. You will have worked in a data role before in a complex organisation and understand the information requirements of users within different roles and how best to serve these.

A high proficiency in the use of Excel and databases to analyse and report on data is essential along with experience of delivering concise directed information to tight deadlines A significant requirement is the skills and experience of delivering data reporting through business intelligence for example Microsoft BI, skills in this area are essential along with experience of servicing KPI’s.
