Learning Support Assistant
The Rookeries Carleton J I & N School are looking for a full-time Learning Support Assistant to start in January 2019. For an exceptional candidate, we would also consider offering the post on a part-time basis working from 9am – 12.15pm Monday to Friday.
We need someone who is patient and caring to support a child in our Key Stage One setting. You will also need to be willing to step in to offer support to a colleague who supports a child with significant medical needs if necessary. As a Learning Support Assistant you will be a key member of our team, enhancing the education of a child in your care and ensuring they become an inclusive member of our school.
To be successful you will need to show initiative, be pro-active and be able to show knowledge of working in an educational setting preferably in a Key Stage One class.
