Pontefract Academies Trust is a cross phase Multi Academy Trust comprising of eight schools, six primaries and two 11 – 16 secondary schools. The Trust is a medium sized family of schools all located within a tight geographic hub within Pontefract. Students are drawn from the local community that includes a mix of different catchment areas.
We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, hardworking and committed Personal Assistant to the Senior Leadership Team to join Carleton High School, a rapidly improving secondary school.
The successful candidate will provide a full and comprehensive range of personal assistant and secretarial duties to the Senior Leadership Team in an efficient and highly effective manner. You will be involved in a wide range of duties including, management of the calendar of meetings, production of minutes, receiving and directing telephone calls and initiation and drafting of complex correspondence. You will possess strong verbal and written communication skills, with a resilience that enables accuracy and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.You will maintain the highest level of confidentiality and security of information at all times.
With experience of undertaking a similar professional role, you will be proactive and confident in working with minimum supervision, whilst being a valued member of the wider school team. Adaptable to the demands and challenges of the role, you will have the necessary skills and attributes that ensures competing priorities within your workload are well managed and are highly effective.
