All achieve, all belong, all enjoy
We aspire to be the best we can
Carleton Park is a school where pupils, parents, staff, governors and the community work in partnership, to ensure that all our pupils achieve their potential and develop the values, skills and attributes needed to fully contribute to our rapidly changing world.
We achieve this by having high expectations of all pupils and by ensuring that we offer a broad and balanced curriculum, which is designed to meet the children’s academic, moral, spiritual, social, emotional and physical needs. We focus on enabling all children to achieve success; all children have equality of opportunity.
We pursue excellence and enjoyment in all areas of teaching and learning. We aim to make teaching and learning innovative and exciting to enable our pupils to develop their creativity, thinking skills and passion for learning. We ensure that our pupils have opportunities to develop their skills in Information Technology, to enhance the quality of their learning.
We help pupils develop self-discipline, responsibility and a caring attitude towards others. We teach pupils how to be healthy and safe. We encourage tolerance, respect and understanding towards other people and different cultures.
Carleton Park is a learning community. We ensure that staff have access to high quality training and continually seek ways for people within the school community to work together more effectively for the benefit of the children.
