Two delighted siblings Daisy and Henry from Halfpenny Lane Junior, Infant and Nursery School, which is part of Pontefract Academies Trust, have been awarded with their very own Blue Peter Badges for their fantastic artwork.
The children are absolutely ecstatic as they’re both big fans of the popular Blue Peter tv programme and never believed they’d be awarded their own badges. Daisy drew a picture of all the presenters as well as the Blue Peter Ship and Henry drew a Remembrance Day Poppy and also a picture of all the presenters.
Tom Fay, interim Headteacher at Halfpenny Lane Junior, Infant and Nursery School said: “What a wonderful surprise and so well deserving too. The whole school are so proud of Daisy and Henry and I’m sure they’ll both treasure these badges for years to come.”
