We are proud to be recognised with the Trust Value Award for Excellence in the 2025 Edurio Awards – placing us among the top 10 performing trusts nationally, based on staff feedback.
Edurio is a national education survey platform used by over 1,300 schools across the UK. They help organisations to gather honest, anonymous feedback, providing insights into everything from culture and wellbeing to leadership and pupil behaviour.
Staff Feedback Highlights (81% response rate):
- 89% of staff feel that the Trust’s vision and values are clear.
- 86% of staff would recommend our schools to parents as a good place for their children to study.
- 85% of staff would recommend Pontefract Academies Trust as a good place to work.
Our Trust also exceeded the national benchmark in every single survey category. That’s a remarkable achievement and a testament to the commitment, professionalism, and care shown by all our teams.

What This Means for Us
These awards celebrate our commitment to creating a positive, values-led culture for our staff, pupils, and wider community. They reaffirm that our values aren’t just words, they are principles that guide us in everything we do. Of course, there is always more work to do, but overall we are pleased with the progress the Trust has made.
