Pontefract Academies Trust is a cross phase Multi Academy Trust comprising of eight schools, six primaries and two 11 – 16 secondary schools. The Trust is a medium sized family of schools all located within a tight geographic hub within Pontefract. Students are drawn from the local community that includes a mix of different catchment areas.
We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, hardworking and committed Higher Level Teaching Assistant at Larks Hill Junior & Infant School. This candidate will be responsible for complementing the professional work of teachers by taking responsibility for agreed learning activities. They will deliver learning activities to pupils within an agreed system of supervision, and plan challenging teaching and learning objectives to evaluate and adjust lessons.
Please be advised that this is a fixed term post to cover maternity leave, with an end date of 03 June 2022.
This post is a fixed term, 32.5 hours per week, term time plus five days contract, equating to 195 working days per annum. Unqualified candidates would start on the Grade 6 scale, and qualified candidates would start on Grade 7.
